Social program
There
will be
several
opportunities for trips in the local area (e.g. the nearby Kings View
lookout point), golfing on the nearby 18-hole island golf course, boat
trips on the local small cruise boat M/S Dronning Tyra ("Queen Tyra")
or kayak trips on the fjord (kayaks can be rented at the hotel). There
are also frequent bus connections to down-town Oslo (about 3 departures
per hour during day time).

 Fishing
in the fjord. There are also numerous opportunities for
fishing in
the many small inland lakes, where you typically need to buy a fishing
license (costs on the order of 20 € for the whole week). A map of the
nearby lakes where fishing is permitted can be downloaded by clicking here
